Many gaming fanatics, who have been doing role playing gaming for a long time or even if they are new, have also done some character generation. In character generation, the role playing gamer is starting from the bottom up and creating a character. This can be really difficult if it is something that you have never done before.
Typically in creating a character generation, you will be creating this based on an idea, philosophy or general concept of something. The character is usually not based on a specific person but the idea of the person or will represent characteristics of that person that you know.
Different characters will have different point values added to them based on their generation "makeup", their weaponry and skills and abilities. Given abilities can have certain values as well as the number of abilities a character has as a whole.
Character generation and character growth can be a great way to add personal touches to your favorite gaming system. Some games can be very user friendly and easy to create such characters while others may be a bit more difficult to figure out. If character generation is new to you then I would suggest finding a gaming system that is very user friendly for gaming generation.
Some allow for personality, physical traits, hobbies, interests and friends/ family/ enemies. Others are not as advanced or possibly more advanced. When creating a character or person, it is great if you are able to create a character that can be added on to.
This allows for the game to keep going and it makes the gaming more fun and dynamic as characters change. It may be easier to go ahead and consider who the character is and how they are going to progress and you create the character.
Another way to help support character growth is to write down certain characteristics and traits about the character. Obviously, it is important to give your character a name that fits who the character is all about. It's important to think about the different strengths and weaknesses your character will have and how that characters physical appearance matches.
For example, you have created a character that has the ability to move in very small and tight spaces. When creating this character physically, you would not want to have someone who is really tall and has large muscles or is overweight. They would need to be slender and have flexibility to be able to move around in very different and tight spaces.
You may even want to consider their clothing. For the character above, you would not want really free flowing or bulky clothing. They would need more fitted clothing and not too many layers.
You will also want to consider how they may interact with the other characters. Who will be their friends and who will be their enemies during role playing games? Lastly, you will want to think how this person and their abilities will be able to grow during gaming.
